Detection System

HiDef Detection HRP Polymer System

The HiDef Detection™ Polymer System is a visualization system that is ready-to-use in immunohistochemical protocols.  This two-step system uses an indirect method resulting in an antibody-enzyme complex that universally detects mouse and rabbit primary antibodies.  The resulting chromogenic reaction can be visualized by HRP-compatible chromogens using light microscopy.  It is biotin-free and eliminates non-specific staining that could result from endogenous biotin.  This visualization system consists of two detection reagents and is based on the sequential application of HiDef Detection™ Amplifier (Mouse and Rabbit) followed by HiDef Detection™ HRP Polymer Detector, amplifying the detection of low expressing antigens. This detection system is compatible with both manual and open automated staining platforms.

CytoScan HRP Detection System

CytoScan™ HRP Detection System allows for the demonstration of tissue antigens in paraffin embedded tissue, cryostat sections, cytosmears, and cell preparations.  The increased sensitivity of the System allows for rapid staining procedures without compromises in the quality of stains. HRP Detection Systems are suitable for use with mouse or rabbit primary antibodies.  Kits are optimized for use with Cell Marque primary antibodies, however they are universal kits and therefore will work equally well with other vendors’ primary antibodies.

Kits contain: HRP streptavidin label and polyvalent biotinylated link. Both components are buffered with PBS containing proteins, stabilizers, and a non-azide anti-microbial.

DAB Substrate Kit

DAB Substrate Kit is intended for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining protocols.  This reagent is designed to detect target antigens in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections when used in conjunction with primary antibodies and appropriate secondary antibody conjugates in the IHC staining process.

When in the presence of HRP polymer, DAB produces a brown precipitate that can be readily visualized using light microscopy.

Kits contain: DAB chromogen and DAB buffer substrate

Retrieval Reagent

Trilogy

Trilogy is a product that combines the three pretreatment steps: deparaffinization, rehydration, and unmasking in immunohistochemistry stains. This product is completely biodegradable and non-toxic.

Trilogy may be used whenever immunohistochemistry staining is performed on formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections. Using this product encourages standardization of the pretreatment procedure, thereby producing more consistent, more reliable results.

Antibody Diluent

Diamond: Antibody Diluent

Diamond: Antibody Diluent is an appropriately buffered solution for the dilution of both polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies as well as for the preparation of negative control reagents in IHC. It is designed to minimize the non-specific reaction that may be caused by the antibody and encourage specific antigen-antibody binding. Diamond: Antibody Diluent can also be used to stabilize diluted antibodies when stored at 2-8°C.

Diamond: Antibody Diluent contains Tris buffer, pH 7.3-7.7, with 1% BSA and <0.1% sodium azide.

Emerald: Antibody Diluent

Emerald: Antibody Diluent is an appropriately buffered solution for the dilution of both polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies as well as for the preparation of negative control reagents in IHC. It is designed to minimize the non-specific reaction that may be caused by the antibody and encourage specific antigen-antibody binding. Emerald: Antibody Diluent can also be used to stabilize diluted antibodies when stored at 2-8°C.
